Use a Blog Template
STEP 1
This tutorial only explains how to decorate the template. For further instructions on usage, visit the Blog Template page.
Okay, first copy one of the templates from the Blog Templates page.
Open Paint and go to Image- Attributes- and change the size to 373 by 297.
Paste in the template.
STEP 2
Click on the paint bucket and pick the color you want. Fill in the background.
STEP 3
Still with the same color, go to Colors- Edit Colors. Now click on Define Custom Colors. Where the tall gradient is, drag the arrow up a couple of those squares so it's lighter. Click OK and fill in the middle box.
STEP 4
Now you can edit and decorate it as much as you want- also, if you stray away from things like the air brush it won't look so much like it was made in paint. Here's how mine turned out:
