Shadowed Splatter
Always wanted your splatters to be shadowed? There are two ways for this.
For either way, start by going to Image and making sure Draw Opaque is UNCHECKED.
Using Smiley Helper's Splatters
Smiley Helper has some splatters here, which makes this super easy.
1. Go to Image and make sure Draw Opaque is unchecked. Copy and paste in the black splatter (the bottom of the layout base page).
2. Copy and paste in a colored one, moving it a teeny bit toward the upper right corner.
Ta da!

With Other Splatters
1. Go to Image and make sure Draw Opaque is unchecked. Copy and paste it your splatter. Go to Image- Attributes and change it to black and white.
2. Press control + a and then control + c and go to File- New. Paste in your black splatter. It really depends on the splatter, but you may want to fill it in with gray because sometimes black doesn't look good.
3. Go to Image and make sure Draw Opaque is unchecked. Copy and paste in the original splatter and move it a teeny bit to the upper right corner.
Ta da!
