Paint Stretch

A lot of people think that paint is a basic program.  When used correctly, however, you can get some pretty cool results.

1. Find an image.  I'm using a penguin from the Smiley Helper image gallery.

2. Paste in the image and click on the rectangle selection tool.

3.  Grab the bottom middle square to make the image longer.  Select a part of the image towards the bottom (the selection should only be a couple pixels tall and spread across the whole image)

4.  Click and drag the bottom middle square of the selection all the way to the bottom of the screen.  Keep dragging until it looks similar to my finished product.  You might have to select another part of it and stretch it down to get it to look all the same.

Pretty spiffy, eh?

You can make blogs, layouts, guild layouts and more from this technique.

Wheee!!!

=)
