Do you have/want staff?
Nope, sorry. I've accepted a few submissions for graphics in the past before, namely from Orple (my offline buddy), but this website is my main hobby and I enjoy doing everything myself. I'm kind of a control freak.

Can I be your affiliate?
If there is a link under the list of affiliates that says 'Apply?' you can click on it can fill out the form there.  If there is no Apply link, we are not accepting.

What programs do you use?
Currently I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 and CPanel online for their file manager, but in the past I've also used Adobe Photoshop 6, Paint Shop Pro, FontCreator, MS Paint, Microsoft FrontPage, Flash MX, Image Mapper, and Cam Studio.

How do you make your graphics?
I use Photoshop and either use a mouse or my tablet.

How did you learn how to do web design?
A combination of self-taught, reading a lot of books, two computer camps, two computer classes, reading thousands of tutorials online, and experimenting in Photoshop. What learning really comes down to is just hours and hours of practice.

How long have you been doing web design?
Over 7 years at the time of writing this.

What kind of tablet do you use?
Wacom Intuos3 4x6 Wide Format Pen Tablet

How old are you?
Old enough to have a website.

Can you make me a ______?
With homework, website stuff, and everything else, I don't have time, since it would then become a matter of making custom graphics for a lot more than just one person.

When did you start Smiley Helper?
June 11, 2004. (= But technically the domain was up the 7th, but it doesn't really count since there was nothing there.

Why are there so many ads?
To pay for running this website.

How much money do you make from the ads/shop?
It depends, but typically it's low enough that if I had to live on this income, the World Bank would classify me under extreme poverty. (;

Do you get paid just for putting ads on your site?
No, people have to click them for us to make any money. And most days we only get a few clicks.
