It's finally winter break! I'm so glad it's here, I can sleep at last. As far as school goes, things are pretty good right now as a result of studying into the wee hours of the morning all this week, but then I took like a 2 hour nap yesterday in addition to about 10 hours of sleep. 
I made 10 new snowflake backgrounds. Hopefully I can make a bunch of stuff over break, even though as usual I have homework.

Happy Thanksgiving, tomorrow anyway. 
I couldn't think of a tutorial to do, so instead I did some hand-sketched Thanksgiving brushes (there were a couple requests for sketched brushes).

This is just to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about Smiley Helper, I've just been excessively busy with school! I'm on Thanksgiving Break now, so hopefully I can make some snazzy new tutorials. Today I went shopping and got a lot accomplished, but I didn't do much homework, hehe. I still have the whole week off though, which is really nice. It's like a mini winter vacation.
If you live in America, how do you plan to spend Thanksgiving? Or otherwise, is anyone going out on Black Friday? Some of the sales start a 3am. That's kinda crazy. It's like you don't even go to sleep, you just stay up and then drive to the mall. :O I kind of want to go just to have the experience, and since I still need to buy holiday gifts for people... XD
Sorry I haven't updated in over a month, but I've been really busy with school! Yesterday I took the SAT test so I'm glad that's over, but now I have to wait until around December to find out my score. :O Does anyone have ideas for new content/graphics/tutorials? Right now school is really just taking away any inspiration and creativity I had over the summer. Haha I feel like I've written this exact post about being busy millions of times, but this is just how school is.
So... any particular tutorials you'd like to see or inspiration lists or brushes or something?
So I finally made something new. It's a list of 12 Eco Green Designs for the inspiration section. Let's see what's been going on... no one ended up entering the contest lol, so I guess nobody gets the free advertising. =P I started school a couple weeks ago and I've been super busy (speaking of which, I should be doing English/memorizing a diario right now :ninja: ). For the water event, we donated a total of 795 cups of water.
Also, the tutorial submission contest is still going on but we don't have any entries so far. You just submit a tutorial through our wordpress using the theme of 'light' as your topic and if you win you get 2 weeks of advertising on the sidebar in addition to having your tutorial put up.
Hey, did anyone donate water today?
We've gotten about 550 visitors so far today, so I just rounded up to account for the next couple hours. In total I donated 609 cups of water today, yay! How about you?
I also added 10 peace sign backgrounds. And if you guys are interested I'm planning on adding some Twitter layouts.
So I spent all of today working on my English assignment and adding the rest of the fun stuff. I still have 10 more paragraphs to summarize and a chapter summary (and then I'll be done with that assignment!) but I added all 6 quizzes and 25 of the Snazzify magazine articles. There were only a few I couldn't find, including all of mine haha. There's a chance mine are saved on my old computer, but it's not worth it to haul out that turtle-slow monstrosity D:
I thought we could have an event tomorrow (Friday, August 14th) for charity with that water game. For every visitor we get tomorrow, I'll play until I get at least one cup of water for each. If you want to join me (and that's the point of it being an event ) just check our stats here and see our visitors for the day, but if you don't want to keep checking back all day just get as many cups as you want. The game is called FreePoverty and you just find locations on a map to donate cups of water. It's totally up to you if you participate, but it would be snazzy if you could post on the comments how many you donate and then I'll add them up and see how many total cups of water we donate and how big of an impact we make.
We are also having a tutorial submission contest. Just submit a tutorial for any category with the following theme and if you win you will get free advertising in the sidebar for two weeks. If you don't win your tutorial can still be published if it meets all the requirements.
